This program is designed to assist in reducing utility bills by making repairs to homes which will lower heating and cooling costs. Typical repairs include caulking areas where outside air can get into the house, repairing doors and weather stripping, furnace and evaporative cooling replacement. Replace broken windows, insulate ceilings, install sunshades, and other repairs that can make a home more comfortable to live in year round.

- Duct work
- Water heater
- other related items
The Weatherization program provides grant assistance to low-income homeowners who live in the Graham, Greenlee, Santa Cruz and Cochise County areas. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis and ranked based on the seriousness of homes' conditions.
Eligible dwelling units include conventional homes and mobile/manufactured homes. RV's, Travel Trailers and Motor Homes do not qualify for the program.
SEACAP will inspect the home, prepare cost estimate of the work to be preformed, and hire contractor. All worked carried out under the program will be performed by a licensed contractor. Upon completion of the repairs, SEACAP will preform a final inspection and walk-through with the home owner.
